Does anyone out there know if the Agfa / Medseek portal solution is compatible with a view only read of a PACS system? I was asked the other day if the Medseek portal can properly interface to Siemens, Cerner, McKesson & Meditech PACS viewers. Any knowledge of this is very much appreciated. Mahalo!

Agfa HealthCare’s Clinical Dashboard™ (EHR Viewer) is compatible with, amongst other things, a view-only read of a PACS system. Any PACS system for that matter. Moreover, the Dashboard™ can easily interface Siemens, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech, and over 150 additional vendors.

Nothing comes with integration out of the box. Also keep in mind that the vendors such as Cerner, Siemens, PACS, etc, has to first be willing to work with MEDSEEK to allow integration to happen. Once you get past that hurdle, as long as the client is willing to pay the price quoted, and work within the MEDSEEK timelines, anything can be integrated by MEDSEEK's engineers.
