Technical Manager:

At Premise Corporation, we provide the most intuitive and clinically-focused Patient Flow Solutions available in the healthcare industry. With Premise, you can transform manual, fragmented processes into fast, automated workflows.

The Technical Manager will be responsible for performing, delivering, and managing Premise software installations, configurations, and technical support tasks for new and existing clients. Provide high levels of professional services by ensuring that clients receive appropriate technical services and education to meet their needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide product technical services to new and existing clients to ensure optimal use of the software.
These services, include:
- Performing tasks related to the installation and configuration of the software
- Supporting workflow analysis relative to the use of the software
- Conducting system testing activities as part of the implementation
- Conducting product configuration reviews as required
- Maintaining documentation to support the installation
-Provide work plan direction to a virtual staff of 3 or more employees / consultants
-Assist the Project Managers or other Implementation Team members in completing the required project deliverables
-Identify, document, and work towards the resolution of all product implementation issues
-Schedule and coordinate all assigned tasks and activities with stakeholders and project leader(s)
-Provide regular progress reports to manager(s)
-Act as “product configuration expert” and “go-to” resource for the project and the company
-Interface at all levels of organization(s), including internal Project Managers and Client Management
-Support Team and company initiatives and special projects
-Support and provide input to product design, development, documentation, and testing
-Educate and train other Premise employees
-Perform other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned.

Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
-Extensive working knowledge of health care systems and applications preferred, with an understanding of HL7, ADT interfaces, and messaging. Systems analysis and software implementation skills are required.
-Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft applications, client server technologies, SQL query language, and relational databases. Web-based applications experience within a .Net development environment is a plus.
-Demonstrated experience managing, training, coaching, mentoring, and building unified technical teams.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Education and Experience
-At least two years of managerial experience, managing a diverse virtual team
-At least 3 years of experience in health care and/or hospital information systems is preferred, including two to three years related experience analyzing, installing, and/or supporting complex IT systems and applications
-Demonstrated success as a lead person on analysis or installation of complex application(s)
-Demonstrated knowledge of project management and systems implementation processes

Other Requirements
-Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast paced environment
-Well-organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, self-starter, able to work independently
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to handle multiple duties with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
-Travel to client sites as required (approx. 20%)
