I'd be VERY interested to get your (HISTalk or others) take on the latest KLAS rankings in the Mid-year report. In particular, the rising score of Siemens Sorian clinicals (Acute Care CDR, Orders & Charting), Cerner Millenium with big drops in Pharmacy, Lab, & Acute Care CDR, and the shake-up in EDIS (Picis falling fast and MedHost from 2nd to 4th?!?!). Please enlighten us!

Thoughts? Soarian moves up to mid-pack, while Cerner's clinicals and especially ancillaries (lab, rad, pharm) take a stunning free-fall to the bottom (all were dead last or next to last.) Does it mean anything, or should we be debating KLAS's methodology again?

Methodology is the issue... where is Soarian being used for charting or MD orders? I'm glad its customers like online results, but what does that say about its ability to deliver advanced, transformative clinical functionality.
