JOB SUMMARY: Innovative Consulting Group (ICG), a national Information Services company is looking for a Practice Director to lead their consulting team specializing in the Cerner healthcare applications. Must be a Cerner application subject matter expert and possess strong relationship management and sales support skills. This role is vital to the continued success of the company and the incumbent must consistently demonstrate professionalism, creativity, outstanding customer service and the ability to establish and manage the Cerner practice in a manner that will achieve growth objectives for the practice.

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Business Development

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Practice Unit:
- Support the sales activities of the Directors of Business Development and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Cerner practice.
- Attract and retain high achieving Consultants as members of the Cerner team.
- Develop and nurture strategic billable consulting engagements to achieve growth.
- Establish, maintain and grow Cerner practice; review and update growth forecasts.
- Drive efforts to achieve Cerner consultant utilization goals.
- Identify and resolve issues, risks, and other considerations related to the implementation of products and services.
- Work in a Consultant role on billable engagements, where appropriate, to achieve growth in the practice.
- Mentor ICG Cerner Consultants to assist in their professional development.
- Lead efforts to effectively manage client resources, contractors, and third party providers.
- Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with Cerner and other vendors.
- Maintain a working knowledge of healthcare technology trends including organizational issues, vendors, best practices, and infrastructure developments

- Customer:
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Nurture existing relationships and lead efforts to grow new business.
- Maintain/monitor project plans and budgets to ensure success of engagements.
- Define strategies to develop and refine service offerings, revenue opportunities and the resources required to deliver those services.
- Establish client satisfaction process to measure performance and anticipate needs.
- Ensure full contract compliance.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, and COMPETENCIES:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years responsibilities in the healthcare IT industry (Cerner background required).
- Demonstrated business acumen to establish, manage and grow the Cerner Practice.
- Proven success in delivering customer satisfaction.
- Proven track record of strong Cerner application knowledge.
- Previous management and sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated successful experience developing and implementing strategy within a service organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, negotiate and deliver client service contracts.
- Professional demeanor; self-driven; and results-oriented.
- Administrative timeliness, effectiveness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to deliver presentations and facilitate meetings at the senior level.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, including demonstrable experience in workflow management systems and/or service delivery.
- Demonstrated problem solving at all levels of an organization.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Current technology skills for utilization of email, spreadsheets, word documents, SalesForce, etc.
- Ability to represent ICG in a positive and professional manner.
- Demonstrate alignment to and consistently model ICG core values.

TOTAL COMPENSATION:
- Base: Commensurate with skills and experience
- Incentives: Aggressive commission and bonus structure to reward superior results
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, 401K , PTO, Tuition reimbursement

POSTION BASED AT: Location Optional; Home Office Environment

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS: 30 to 35% to customer locations and conferences as needed.
