The e-mail said both positions were eliminated, although a more graceful exit may have been arranged. Whether he sought the door or was shown it I can't say, although wording strongly suggests the latter.

Rumor is that Misys has named a new sales VP, coming either from Kodak or Eclipsys (depending on what story you believe.) Could it be Mike Etue, I wonder? I have no reason to suspect that other than an overactive correlated events detector.

Did Etue work at SMS/Siemens? Perhaps he and Vern Davenport will be re-connecting. As the old saying goes: "There are a 100 sales positions in healthcare I.T. and 95 salespeople to fill them," so the musical chairs never seems to end.

Just popped out of the "Picnic in the Park" at the MHSUG in Dallas - as a CPR client, couldn't help feel that the country band's first song was meant for us... "You don't love me anymore, and I don't care..."
