I have heard rumors that Yale-New Haven is ending their relationship with HV. If so, that would seem to be a big blow (long-time customer). Has anyone else heard this? If true, why? If true, is it a big deal?

At this time, I can safely say with first hand info, this is false.

I wouldn't necessarily take this as a credible reply. HITman's from Texas, Healthvision's home state. I'm not sure the vendor would be privvy if Yale was getting ready to dump them. I'm not saying I have better information, but I would take this with a grain of salt, considering Healthvision's ongoing struggles.

Don't question my credibility... Check the archives. I was right about HV and Verisign. And I'm right about this one. Time will show what I know. I stated first hand knowledge and that doesn't have to mean from the vendor side.

It is hard to believe much will happen here. Yale is slow to move.

Look for movement... agreements have been reached on terms for an extension.

Look for it. The deal is done.

If Yale does sign expect it to be for one reason and one reason only. That is to give them time to find another vendor to replace them. Heads up to Healthvision ... Yale is not the only one looking!

Yale is not the only one looking. Amen to that! After 8 years of missed deadlines, outright lies and products that were sub standard we too are looking to dump Healthvision. The meetings we recently had were with new players but the outcome was more of the same. It takes time to un-hook your clinical applications but know that we will be doing so. RFP's will be out in Q1. The sooner we move away from Healthvision the better in my opinion.
