Kathy Malloch, PhD, MBA, RN, FAAN, will discuss how healthcare organizations can incorporate data from multiple sources to make better-informed staffing decisions

Malloch, an expert in the development of data-driven processes and systems for patient care, serves as a clinical professor in the newly created Master’s in Healthcare Innovation program at Arizona State University’s College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation. A registered nurse for 35 years, she has published extensively in proctored health journals and has co-authored a number of books, including Quantum Leadership, The Quantum Leader, An Introduction to Evidence Based Practice and Managing for Success. Additionally, she co-created the Taxonomy of Error Root Cause Analysis Protocol (TERCAP) with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, a seminal contribution to the national error management effort.
